CILICIA. Tarsos. 164-27 BC. AE (Bronze, 27 mm, 14.66 g, 12 h). Turreted, veiled and draped bust of the city-goddess to right. Rev. TΑΡΣΕΩΝ Sandan, holding hammer and flower, standing right on horned animal; all within a pyramidal monument set on garlanded pediment and surmounted by eagle standing right, head left, with wings spread; three monograms to left. SNG Levante 961. SNG Paris 1339. Beautiful light green patina. Minor flan faults as made, otherwise, very fine.
